Position: Strategist
Events: Dunan Unification War
Klaus trained as a strategist at the Soledt Academy in Crystal Valley and took up a position as the official strategist for the 3rd Highland Army under his Father Kiba. This is where Klaus first met Jowy and, being that he was loyal only to Agares Blight and not his son Luca, secretly helped him devise a way to infliltrate the Royal Family as a means of bringing Luca's reign to an end. After the 3rd Highland Army's defeat and capture he was brought with his Father to North Window and joined forces with Riou.
When the war ended Klaus stayed a while in North Window to help with the reconstruction before heading on his travels across the world, deciding that he needed to experience more to make himself a better strategist. He came to Budehuc during these travels and, after a while, decided to settle there.
Klaus met up again with Jowy when he arrived at the castle a few weeks after Klaus and the two became romanticlly involved shortly thereafter. The relationship almost ended twice; firstly when it was revealed Jowy had a son with Jillia that he did not know about and secondly when Klaus cheated on Jowy with Jess. Things worked out though, and Klaus Jowy and Robert left to stay with Klaus' mother in Harmonia, where they have been living since. They had intended to return to Budehuc soon after the visit to Harmonia however circumstances arose that kept them there for longer than they anticipated.
